Belly Wrap questions

I've been researching all sorts of postpartum belly wrapping products and just getting more and more confused. I don't really want to spend $100 (or even $50 for that matter) on something that might be too uncomfortable to wear.

Why should I buy a 'postpartum' wrap instead of a post surgical wrap? Is there any difference? Except for the $$$ and marketing, of course.

I just got a heavy-duty rebozo at a local store for $10. I'm sure it will work just fine I plan to wrap it around my abdomen twice and then tie on the side. If it shows, it shows, but I'll be wearing the baby in the moby constantly for the first several weeks, so I don't really think anyone will notice a bit of extra bulkiness under my shirt!

I don't know what the difference is. I had a medela postpartum wrap that was actually really helpful. I had a (surprise!) emergen-c-section, and the wrap really helped support that entire area during the first two weeks. I liked that I could get it lower than it was "supposed to" be--it doesn't look like the wraps in any of the links would fit low enough to support that area. Not that you'll have a c-section, but I was positive I wouldn't, so...
