Why is my EBF 10wk-er so gassy? And his toots stink! Like burnt potatoes
He is not much for burping, but we do try after every feeding, and he will usually give at least a tiny belch.
Could it be my diet? I'm vegetarian but have cut out all soy and barely ever eat nuts. We don't eat too much wheat, but I guess I could give that a try.
He's been consistently stinky and gassy for at least a couple of weeks, seemingly regardless of what I'm eating.
Could it just be lots of seasonal produce making my milk gassy for him?
He usually has a pretty good latch; sometimes I hear a little clicking, but then we always detach and try again til we get it right.
He's been very complain-y about it and really cries, so it's not just a little toot here and there---it's causing him pain
We got gripe water which seems to help him eliminate the gas, but what's causing it in the first place?
Any advice?
