Starting about mid-September, my 22 month old got a cold. Pretty nasty. Fever, non-productive cough, chest congestion w/ wheezing, lethargic, not eating much but drinking tons. I dosed her with honey, fenugreek, and cool peppermint tea. It was gone in 2 days.

The next week, it started again. It was gone the next day.

The next week, same thing- except the cough hung around.

Monday (after a few days of Thanksgiving festivities, weird naps, late nights) she started wheezing in the early evening. Her fever and non-productive cough had come back. She was eating normally and drinking a lot. The next day she was greatly improved and today she has a lingering cough but seems fine.

I'd love if she could spend a weekend (it's almost always recurring on a Sunday) not sick. I'd love it if she was healthy enough that I could bring her to playdates or meet up groups, but I'm worried about her making the other kids sick. I'm getting bored and lonely, and she's starting to drive me batty because she gets a bit crazy when she's bored and lonely.

Any ideas on this? Anything I can do to help her shake this thing once and for all?

Sorry for the length!
