Law and Order: SVU and Los Angeles

Is anyone else watching SVU or Los Angeles? This show used to be one of my favorites but I find the writing has gotten poor, the storylines are a little bit wacky and unrealistic and Detective Benson is becoming annoying.

I really miss Jack McCoy.

I agree that Benson is becoming an irritant. I've only seen 2 episodes of this season but the storylines were pretty out there. Do you know of any place to catch these online?

She is an irritant and it's too bad because I used to love her character but she just makes me want to scream. DH isn't sure why I still watch.

Unfortunately, NBC is stingy with their online viewing but you can catch the reruns either on Saturday night on NBC or on the USA network. They usually rerun an episode a week after it's aired. Clearly, I watch too much tv because I know the line ups by memory.

Have not seen LA, but we watch SVU. The quality has gone down, too much personal Beson and Stabler drama.
Oh, and I thought the last episode's "war on soda" thing really stupid.

I miss ADA Cabot, she was awesome.

This! The soda thing was ridiculous. I also think the show has become too formulaic. I used to love L & O because you were never sure what was going to happen and as in real life, the bad guy wasn't always sent off in chains at the end of each episode.

Now Benson is barely tolerable. Each episode she saves the day at the 9:42 mark and it turns out there is a subplot within the plot and then Olivia gets so involved. My husband says she wouldn't pass a real NYPD psych test.LOL

I loved Cabot too.

I love SVU. I can't get into LA and I miss the original - namely Detective Lupo!
