Possible Chicken Pox? Or just bites? Type of oozing?

Another one of those threads!

My DD, 20 mos., turned up with a spot on each of her legs the day before yesterday. They looked like fire ant bites, and didn't seem to bother her. Yesterday evening a bump appeared on her forehead. This morning there was a second bump. They're red, seem to be pus-y rather than watery, and are different sizes (smaller on her forehead). She seemed warm last night and this morning--possibly a low fever. Appetite and demeanor are normal; not itching herself at all.

It's not hand/foot/mouth (we've had that before); it's not Fifths' Disease (doesn't look like that at all).

Two weeks ago, she moved to a new building at her daycare, where she's exposed to older children than she was before. I'm secretly hoping that it's chx pox...but don't want to overlook something more serious.

She has had relatively few vaxes, and has not had the Chx Pox vax or MMR....

Thoughts? I'll (hopefully) post some pics later today.

TIA!

ETA: Sorry if this is TMI. You know how fire ant blisters sort of ooze a pus type fluid if they are scratched/popped? These blisters are more like the blisters you get on your heels from shoes.... Sorry, I know, :Puke

We are in the SAME boat (minus fire ants)! We think...fleas? Pox can be watery ~and~ pus-y. Flea bites can be the same if there is an allergy or bacteria where the bite takes place... Fire ants HURT when they bite, right? I've been bitten by them and it's a very painful bite

Yep! I think your thread was moved over at the same time that I posted....

Fire ants hurt like heck, but DD has some sensory issues so she doesn't always respond appropriately to input like pain/itching. She's with Daddy right now so I'll have to see what she looks like this evening. I made an appointment with the pedi for tomorrow afternoon in case its worse. Not because I think the pox needs treatment, but if she does have it I want to get it documented....
