toys r us trade in board games deal till 16th 5.00 games = 3.49 after coupon/michaels mand doug puuzzles 3.50 after coupon. school supplys 75% at...

i could give you a heads up that toys r us is doing a board game trade in until 16th of any milton bradley or hasbro game. or each one u turn in you get a 30 percent off coupon towards a hasbro milton bradley game. I was thinking maybe some holiday helpers may have some old games layin around that are maybe missing peices beatup box. that they could turn in and et a coupon. also there are many games for 5.00 like connect 4. sorry, memory etc etc. and the coupon would make them 3.50. maybe this would make some kids happy i seen that are a few kids that like board games under toys.

And also fyi michaels crafts stores carry chunky melissa and doug puzzles for 5.00 but then in their weekly flier they have 40 perecent off 1 item coupon. making the puzzle 3.50. trick is it is 1 item per coupon per person per day. and you normally have to click on last weeks ad on site in order to get a coupon for the week you are in cuase they typical are for the next wk in the current ad. if that makes sense. also i found some stores have the puzzles on clearance for 1.99. i thought i would pass on the info. i am unable to purchase any of this stuff though as i bought for my kids due to tight budget this year.

and last deal i seen was at target they had school suupplys on 75% off clearnce for some of the familys that like coloring or need supplys.

and dont forget dollar tree
they have pencils etc and board books and coloring books all for a 1.00

Don't forget that a lot of places offer free shipping. Amazon.com is one of my favorites since many items qualify for free shipping once you hit the $25 mark.

Also, sign yourself up for cash back or points based rewards websites to earn money back or gift certificates. One well known website is Ebates.com where you can earn cash back for shopping at many big name companies. I have also been happily using MyPoints.com for 10 years now. At that website you earn points for shopping at online retailers which can be redeemed for gift cards.

A really good place to find deals is Slickdeals.net
If I could only recommend one website, that would be it.

Happy Shopping!

Amazon.com has free Prime trial memberships for parents called Amazon Mom. Its basically free shipping on almost everything on the site (just look for the "Prime" logo on the item description page), no minimum purchase required.

The Old Navy near me had an additional 50% off their clearance clothing when we were there yesterday. Not sure how long this will be going on for. I saw some adult winter coats that would have been $10 each.

The drugstores often have stuff like toothpaste, toothbrushes, cold/flu medicines (including some natural ones), body washes, etc really cheap or free after rebate/coupons. Check out www.southernsavers.com for a list of things by store and where to find the coupons. A basket of body washes and stuff might be nice for a mom.

Rite Aid has NYC cosmetics free after their UP reward (like CVS's Extra Care Bucks or Walgreens' Register Rewards) this week (10/24-10/30). Buy a NYC cosmetic product for $1.99, get nail polish free. You'll get back 2 $1.00 UP rewards to use on your next purchase. Might be a nice gift for a teenage girl. (Or the moms, who I'm sure do without a lot of stuff and who also like to look pretty.)
ETA- www.allyou.com has coupons for $1.00 off any 1 NYC color cosmetic product, making these better than free!
