fore/hind imbalance and pumping

I hope this is one of those things everyone knows but I haven't come across. I have OALD/OS, and DS *had* green poops. All addressed/dealt with. Now, at home, he has regular poops (brown/yellow/greenish/what have you). However, now that he's been in daycare for 2 weeks and taking a bottle for 10 hours a day, every diaper that comes home from the daycare is green. On another thread of mine someone theorized that if pumping wasn't as efficient as baby, does that mean the bottle has more foremilk and less hind? I'm really wondering about that now based on the daily diapers...

Anyone know? Or should I post this in the working moms forum since there are many pumping over there....

I'm not to sure of the answer. I do pump so I can donate my extra milk and I've heard that to get all the hind milk out you can massage your breast as you pump. It's supposed to push out all the hindmilk. Maybe when you pump you can try that.

Thanks MamitaM! Wanted to come back and update - the massage does seem to produce fattier milk. We'll see if the dipes change...
