Looking for girls' nightgowns / not flame retardant

My girls love nightgowns, but I don't buy pajamas that are flame retardant. Do you know of any places to purchase nightgowns that are not flame retardant?

My MIL made us some flannel ones. I'd look on etsy, maybe? Hyenacart? Beyond that, you could look for wool nightgowns, because they're naturally flame retardant, so sometimes you can find stuff like that.

Thrift Shop? That's where I get mine.

I've also had luck just buying soft cotton dresses like Gymboree and Hanna Anderson to wear to bed.

It isn't legal to sell them in the US - all kids pjs that aren't form fitting need to be flame retardant. (WAHM might sell them, not saying you can't find them, just that it isn't legal, so no larger business would). So you need to buy stuff that isn't technically PJs, or stuff on ebay from other countries that don't have the same insane requirement.

I thought the only jammies that HAD to be flame retardant were polyester ones. I have tons of baby pjs that specifically say "not flame retardant" because they're 100% cotton. They are not fancy--just normal brands.

Jayray... right, but they have to be tight fitting if they're not flame retardant.
