Can a toddler learn to take a paci?? xpstd

Hi mamas, I have a 16mo dd who needs to suck all night long. She has never taken a paci so it has been her and me attached every night all night long. I cannot even get up to pee without her waking and crying. I cannot go out in the evenings past her bedtime in fear she will wake and need my boob. I was thinking that I will have to partially nightwean to get some sort of sanity but I think it would be so mean to take away her comfort. My 3.5yr old stills sleeps with his paci and I would not take that away from him. I wouldn't mind if she nursed frequently but then let me move. Have you ever heard of introducing a paci at this age?? Is it possible?? Anyone ever succeed?? I want my body back for a few hours at night but taking away her "paci" seems so mean. PLEASE HELP

I feel your pain, I say TRY the paci... its worth a shot. I have also been trying cuddles with out nursing. Its not as good, but sometimes its enough.
