Breastfeeding and gestational surrogacy

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong category, please place it in the correct one if necessary. I am just in need of advice.

I am currently in the process of becoming a gestational surrogate. I will admit that the agency and intended parents do not know, but I nurse my child to sleep for nap and bedtime. I do not nurse during the day at all. I know most agencies won't even work with you while breastfeeding. My plan was to wean a while ago (when we started contracts) but quite frankly we are just not ready. After doing more research and getting opinions from the pediatrician and our family care practitioner, I felt it was ok to keep nursing. I am currently taking .2 delestrogen injections x2 a day. Just also started doxycycline 2x a day for 7 days. I'll have to start progesterone sometime also. Not sure when or what the dose will be and for how long exactly. I just know I'll be doing injections until I do believe the end of the first trimester if I conceive.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anybody else has a similar experience as me. I have read a bunch on here about women who went through IVF and took clomid and estradiol and progesterone and lupron all while nursing with no ill effects...I guess I am just concerned for my child's health even though I have researched and found that it shouldn't harm her. I know that the injections can lower milk production, but I hardly have any milk to begin with and I have actually noticed a slight increase in milk since starting the delestrogen

Please if anybody has advice or a similar story, I'd really appreciate hearing from you. Thanks so much

Im not sure if thats the exact website or not - every year, Dr. Thomas Hale publishes a book listing every medication in the known universe and whether or not it passes through breastmilk easily or not. It basically gives ratings on what meds are safe for b-feeding and what meds are out of the question. Sorry i dont have more info for you - but its a start.
