ok - where do you KEEP your slings?

are your slings at the ready or are you constantly looking for them?

i have them scattered all over! i keep my kkacp in the car since that is the one i use the most for outings. i am going to be getting a hotsling soon so that may replace the kkacp for in the car since it will be my summer one. my ergo is on a shelf by the door for quick grabs if i am hiking. my storch is kinda thrown (in a HUGE heap cause of all the fabric :LOL) in my kitchen cause i am still practicing. my maya is in my bedroom for quick grabs when ds is sick and whining. i STILL haven't tried my kozy and i've had it for 3 days now! that may stay in my kitchen. all others are either awol or in a basket in my basement! i really should keep the extra ones in ds's room since that is where i am constantly changing my diaper bag and that is where i'll throw in a sling as i need it.

I put some nails in the wall in my hallway near the front door, and some in my kitchen, and hang my slings on them, where my DD can reach them if she wants to be slung. HTH!

I only have one sling, so I guess it makes it easier to keep track of...I have a special hanger for it, in the living room. It's either there, or hanging on the back of my rocking chair.

I keep my silk zolo in my car in its own bag - after I found it way in the back of the jeep where all the dirt and dog hair resides - thanks to my dh I also keep my mom 'n me hemp pouch in the car.

I have my KKAFP hanging on our peg hook shelf and my new ellaroo wrap is still in hiding - along with the new dipes :LOL

I keep one in the car and one on a coat hook in the house. If I didn't have one in each place I'd never remember to bring them back and forth from the house to the car:

My homemade didymos is kept on the floor of the back seat of our car in case we accidently leave the house w/o anything else.....my kozy carrier is currently on our dining room table (it usually is resting on the third stair from the bottom :LOL), my pea in a pod pouch is currently being worn as I am NAK, however, when not in use, it usally lives on the sofa or on the back of the chair I nurse in most often in the livingroom and my OTSBH is upstairs in the guest bedroom in a box. I am so very organized, can't you tell :

There's a sling in both cars and 2 in the house. It's nice to always have a sling around when you need it.

My homemade Kozy alternates between the basket of my stroller and in my car.

The "active" carrier is usually floating around the living room, though sometimes gets left at the foot of the bed if that's where I am when I take DD off. The others are kept in the bottom left-hand drawer of the changing table /dresser in the downstairs bathroom.

Inevitably I will have one in the washer, one stolen by my older DDs and one somewhere in the car. I have a NoJo, an OTSBH and a Toot Sweet ring sling.

I need to keep one in the car though, I always seem to need it the most when it isn't there. :

I have one in the car usually my OTSBH and one in the bedroom since it's the one we use for nursing to sleep and then my Kozy is always at the ready since it's great for outdoors but also indoors when I need to make dinner. I have a couple more lying around the house which don't get much use since they don't work for us.

Usually in the car - DS isn't big on being in the sling around the house, but he loves it when we have outings!

Lesse! I keep our mesh one in the swim-bag, or hanging on the back of the bathroom door (time of year depending)..

I keep both a cotton (unpadded) sling, and a tie wrap in the car (I'm finding the tie wrap more comfortable later in pregnancy)

and I keep another unpadded sling in and about the front hall

It's just easier that way :P

I keep one in the car, and the rest are usually kept in her dresser. Although, right now, one is hanging over the saftey gate thingy, and one is on the steps and one in the laundry hamper, lol. :LOL The rest are where they should be, in her dresser, she is napping now

Well I usually keep one in each vehicle ut I just took them in to be washed. I keep the rest of my slings in a laundry basket in the downstairs playroom. They are all easily accessible. I just moved into a new house (much bigger) and now have a sewing room. With this sewing room I have a closet rod that that runs abotu 1/2 the room that I hang my finished slings on while they are waiting to be packaged up for shipping. Accesibility is important to me... I like to have a bunch at hand at all times!

...in the crib. And that is about all the crib gets used for. lol Oh, and we keep extra blankets and clothes that haven't gotten put away etc. in there as well.

If they're not in the crib they might be in the diaper bag. Sometimes, one gets left in the car and I hate that since its usually the car my husband takes to work... and I'm left without for the day.

My Ultimate Baby Wrap fits into the diaper bag well and often stays there since its then ready for ds if we go somewhere. The Ergo pretty much stays home unless we're going for a hike or long walk somewhere away on the weekend. My No-jo never gets used since I couldn't figure it out...and we've sort of out-grown the New Native so they end up tossed into unused corners (or under the crib). But I really wish I had some more to toss around. Am going to have to look into yet another wrap.

I keep my kozy, kkafp, and homemade wrap all in a zip up bag in the living room corner. I almost always put one in the diaper bad when i leave the house... usally my kkafp when it's short tips in and out a lot... if it's an alll day outing at the mall or shoping then it's my kozy!

our sling hangs on a coat rack by the front door usually, along w/ the ergo. the kozy is almost always in the car. however, right now it is rolled up in a ball on top of the shelf of our coat rack
