I'm so disappointed. She's not even a close friend, but someone who had asked me several times for info on breastfeeding, slings, cloth diapers, etc. We're facebook "friends" and I regularly "share" anti-circ links and info that friends post.
She had her baby 2 weeks early (possibly pre-e and possible c/s - she hasn't been very forthcoming with info and I haven't wanted to pry) and he spent over a week in the NICU - he was only 5lbs at birth! Poor little guy. I saw her for the first time since he was born yesterday, he'd been home for about 36 hrs at that point, and she was talking about how traumatic his first bath at home was because he had just been circed.
So, just a silly little vent. Finding out that she circ'd threw me for a loop and made me sad.
