Recommendations for a toddler diaper please

Thread Starter
We used BG 3.0 from the time he was born, and they are completely shot. The PUL is worn out, so the pee just runs right through and the velcro tabs are a mess. My 22 m/o is very interested in toileting from watching his big brothers, and even though i let him try, as expected, we haven't had much success, yet. But I am hopeful that I could purchase just one size before he learns to use the potty. He is also very small (probably about 22-23 lbs) so I am not sure where that would fit with diaper sizes, especially if I am looking for a much more toddler friendly diaper - something easy to get on, while wrestling to go run some more, yet pretty absorbant. I don't have strong feelings about any particular fabrics. Ideally I like natural fibers, but they are likely out of my budget.

I welcome all recommendations. TIA!

Motherease Sandy's - either size L or the Toddle-ease (just a larger size of the Sandy's).
V. absorbant. Good elastic at legs and waist to prevent leaks. Can either wear loose at waist and pull down to use potty, or undo side snaps to make it looser. And the side snaps are good for getting it off if it's messy. Can also just pull it on like underwear instead of lying down to fasten.
ME Airflow covers are also good - same basic style as the diaper, so work well over the diaper for potty training when out or for if you want to stay leak-free when training indoors (ie can still pull up and down easily).

I was going to say ME Sandy's too as long as you're ok with fitteds. Because they're side snapping you can have them a bit loose and pull up/down. Or you could look into other side-snapping AIO or pockets.
