I have to go on the regular BCP, specifically because I need the estrogen. I only need to be on it temporarily to get my period to stop, but I'm concerned about supply. My son is 8 months old and I also just got out of the hospital, where I had reduced access to the baby for 2 days and wasn't successful at pumping for him.
Does anyone have any experience with estrogen and keeping supply up? Any suggestions? I would just not go on them, but my doctor correctly pointed out that I can't nurse the baby if I bleed to death either.
