Really need help with baby's position.

Hey ladies, I'm more of a lurker as this place is so big but I thought maybe you could help me.

I am 36wks with baby #2. I am really concerned with baby's position. He is ALL over the place. From what I've been told he's been head down but one nurse I saw (I was in the hospital for some fluids after a bad flu) last week thought baby was breech.

He always favors my right side. I think he is ROT but he'll often move to the center but he'll never settle there. Anyway today I thought I felt weird and I am pretty sure he is now transverse lie. I'm wide and I can feel hard buldges on both my right and left. If I push on what I think is the bum the other side (head?) bludges further on the other side.

Obviously I'm terrified about baby flipping breech (my MW last week said he was NOT breech that he was head down).

I've spent tons of time on spinningbabies. I do probably a million pelvic tilts a day. I've done some inversions but I'm scared since he moves around SO much that I don't want him to flip breech if he IS head down.

So I am so worried that it literally keeps me up at night because I know if he goes breech there is a small chance he'll turn and I know they won't let me deliver if he's breech. Also I'm terrified about prosterior and how bad back labor could be.

I also kind of thought it was kind of late for him to move THIS much. From what I've read first timers tend to settle by 34 weeks and later babies by 37. I just can't imagine there is much room in there for him to be moving this much.

I've been seeing my chiro twice a week for weeks now and it's getting insanely expensive

Any advice?

I found someone about an hour away who does Rebozo, should I make the long trek and have it done?

so has it been confirmed that baby is breech? and you've had no luck turning him at the chiropractor?

hmm.. im interested to hear responses to this too. im worried about our baby being breech, but only because our midwives won't deliver a breech baby at home i thought the sucess rate of chiropracters turning baby were pretty high?

I thought so too. I've been going weekly since 20 weeks and twice weekly since 34 weeks. She suggested going 3 times a week and acupuncture once a week until baby turns or until I go into labor but going twice a week is so far out of our budget that we're suffering as it is. I keep telling myself that it will be a lot cheaper than having to pay for a c-section but still. Oy.

since 20 weeks?? omg! why so early??? i thought at 20 weeks baby still had space to tumble around.. i wouldnt think acupuncture or turning methods would be necessary until around 36+ weeks. ugh.. im cringing at the thought of how much money you've spent on this.. here's hoping that baby turns and its all worth it!

Oh I've been going that early because I've been having some serious pelvic pain. Apparently part of my pelvis is getting stuck on another bone. I literally couldn't even lift my leg in/out of the car and my husband had to lift me into bed LOL.

So helping to get baby into a good position has been the natural progression of my treatement.
