Spitting up in moby?

I have a moby wrap and when I wore DS while he was small, he would spit up a little. Not tons but fairly frequently. It was a pain, always having to wipe it out. It often went down my shirt. It also made me anxious while wearing him, thinking he could puke at any moment.

Is there anything we can do to improve this? We do cloth diapers, do you think that's related to the problem?

(DS is 2 now but I'm asking for my future newborn. )

The type of diaper doesn't have anything to do with spitting up. Some babies are big spitters...others aren't. The baby will spit weather or not hey are in a carrier. I'd put a burp cloth between you and the baby's mouth.

Ok thanks. I'll probably have to do that. Because I'm thinking I'm going to be wearing the newborn a lot, what with chasing after DS and all. I still want as much contact with the new baby as possible.
