Educational fun video games for the gifted 5 year old

We would like to find some new video games for my 5 year old son. He is reading well and in Kindergarten. He loves video games and when he was younger Reading Eggs, Headsprout, and Dreambox would keep him busy as long as I would let him play. I know there are some good and fun games out there. Anyone have any suggestions? He really likes games where he is learning but also playing a game. He doesn't realize it is educational but he thrives on constant new information. He also plays the piano and I was wondering if there might be games with musical puzzles or something along those lines. Has anyone tried anything from here: http://www.criticalthinking.com

The older kids section of PBS Kids doesn't seem to be very visible or known, but it's good. http://pbskids.org/go/games/?campaign=go_gamesarrow

DD really enjoys The Great Word Quest there.

Mensa for kids has a games link on their site as well: http://www.mensaforkids.org/play_template.cfm

For music, you might want to look at the Dallas Symphony Orchestra's kids' games site: http://www.dsokids.com/games/default.aspx

My almost-5 DS has been loving the Fritz and Chesster learn to play chess game:  http://www.amazon.com/Learn-Play-Chess-Fritz-Chesster/dp/B0000950SM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1289502284&sr=8-1
