eye rolling

Hello womyn

my little girl is always rolling her eyes back in her head! It is mostly when she is between sleep and waking, as after a feeding.

It looks scary, but I don't know. What is the general opinion on this?

She was born a month and a half ago.

tell me what you think!

My little one did this regularly as one of her tells that she needed to sleep. She's 6 months now and totally normal and still does it occasionally.

Yup, mine too, he's almost 3 mo old now. I asked on facebook if their kiddo's did this and if they outgrew it, they did - according to those that replied.

We called it "zombie eyes." I loved it, to me it looked like she was just soooo content and sleepy that she couldn't even control her eyes anymore.

Totally normal. DD did this until she was about 4 months old.

Yep, mine did it, I always thought it was really cute.

ds is 10 months and he still does it when he's tired and is enjoying a pre-nap breastfeeding. it worried me at first, but now i just think of it as his little ecstasy-sleepy face. (a lot better than the "maybe i'll nibble your nipple now" wicked face!)
