Easiest sling for a newborn?

I am just about 14 weeks pregnant, but already wanting to start researching slings, I really would like an easy no adjusting type sling for the first couple months, I did remember trying some old slings out with ds, they were old and ring slings, but never really got the hang of them. I found them pretty uncomfortable and awkward. I am looking for one of those no adjust no tie types, which is really good for nursing.

I would get a good ring sling without a padded rail and have someone show you how to do an upright carry in it. When DS was born, that was the absolute most comfortable and easiest to get into sling by far. I had a Maya Wrap and it was heavenly. It literally only took seconds to get in and out of and was my favorite sling for a couple of years.

A pouch can hold a newborn and you won't need to adjust it, but I was always nervous with him laying down and having his neck so easily scrunched up. I had a friend who's baby's face got caught on the edge and her little face was turning purple when another friend noticed. It could have ended up very badly. An upright carry puts baby on your chest between your breasts and has his or her head turned and right against your heart. Such a snuggly place for a newborn to be and it is pretty much the way you would hold a newborn without a carrier anyway.

love our sakura bloom double linen ring sling...so simple and easy, plus the fabric really snugs them in. I also like a ring sling over a pouch sling for 2 reasons, one a ring sling you can hold baby upright on your chest with thier legs "froggied" and this is not possible with a newborn and a pouch sling. secondly a pouch you can not tighten or loosen, you get what you get. After having dd I tried on both that I owned and the pouch made me nervous that she wasn't on right and even with her at 8lbs it pulled on my shoulder uncomfortably.
