Anyone birthed at The Farm?

I'm considering The Farm in TN as a possible birthing place. Of course I've read Ina May Gaskin's books with all of the wonderful stories, but I'm curious if anyone on here has birthed there, or even been to their birthing center?

How cool! I haven't birthed there but I also read all her books and think it'd be a great place to have a baby! If I lived closer I'd consider it! Good luck and if you want up going, please tell us about it!

I haven't birthed there (yet!) but I've had well woman and prenatal care there and just love my midwives! It is rustic and you need to know that going in. I could see that bothering some women. It doesn't bother me at all although I did notice it and discuss it with DH. We are really looking forward to birthing there. By far, the midwives there, have taken superior care of me. The respect and gentleness combined with knowledge is just pratically visible on them it is so just a part of what they do! Sorry for gushing! Feel free to PM me with any questions/specifics. you guys are so lucky that you have the option to birth there! i would do it in a heartbeat if we lived closer. hell. id even consider living there for a stint
