What do you think of my chart?

Oops, I thought I had ovulated a few days before we DTD. So, I didn't ovulate at my regular time, which would have been the 5th, which is when the store I started working at opened their doors, guess I was a little stressed about it. . So, I didn't ovulate then. Do you think since I ovulated late that it will give me a long enough luteal phase? Has anyone had this happen where they ovulated late and the luteal phase was long enough after ovulating?

I'm having symptoms already, my body now wants me to go to bed earlier and get up earlier, which is interesting, I usually get up at 6am, but the last two mornings I'm like wide away at like 5:15 and this morning was 4:40. I told myself to go back to sleep. Plus, feeling more hungry, but I also just went off insulin, so that might be another factor for that, and the forgetfulness is starting.

Even though we wanted to wait I'm so !!!!!!

When do you think you O'd? FF doesn't have cross hairs for you so I'm not really sure that you did until recently (like 2 days ago which is too early for symptoms).. If you're pretty sure you O'd on a certain day, you might want to put your own cross hairs in because I'm not really sure what I'm looking at here.

And just FYI: When you ovulate does not affect your LP. It should be roughly the same no matter when you ovulate. The first phase is usually the only thing that changes month to month, not the LP.

I'd say the only possible ovulation on that chart is 2 days ago, so FF won't add crosshairs unless your temp stays up again tomorrow.

And as Attached2Elijah said, a long pre-ovulation phase won't impact your luteal phase at all. Your luteal phase should be about the same length every month, unless you're taking meds or vitamins that adjust it.

there is no o visible on that chart at this time, but it may have been 2 days ago. you will know that soon, and if that is the case, you covered your bases well! (sex drive increase is also a sign of impending o, btw.) until you know for sure, keep on keeping on, and consider yourself fertile. and yep, luteal phase is always (about) the same length, it doesnt matter when you o.

you might want to pick up a book called taking charge of your fertility, most libraries have it. it is a wealth of information! fertility friend also has a great charting course and educational thangs that might help. checking cm and cp is a big help (cervical mucous is very easy to track and very informative,) i also really like opks. if you need any tips on any of that, just ask.

I agree with the previous posters about ovulation being a couple days ago if your temps stay up and about the LP being the same. But if you did O a couple days ago then while you wouldn't have any symptoms of pregnancy yet, your timing looks great! Good luck!

Hahaha! I did have lots of cervical mucousy stuff and yes, I've read two charting books, but wanted to see what you guys thought. I guess I was so excited I needed to talk to people who would understand. And yes, it was a very exciting couple of days.

you mamas and mamas to be

I'm hoping for the lines to pop up tomorrow on my chart. So happy that the luteal phase should be the same!!!

great! if you want tips for improving cm, you can get those here too! just ask.

Well, there are those lines this am. Ooops!!! I doubt I won't conceive, the man uses the same soap and I get pregnant, it took 2.5 yrs to get pregnant with my ds with my ex. This will be the 3rd pregnancy in a year with my current dh and I'm hoping this one sticks, I'm the healthiest I've ever been and my diabetes is now under control, and no more stress, so I guess its perfect timing in a way. Though I'm kinda upset that I just started fitting into some pants I haven't been able to since a year ago this last summer, but ya know, I guess this is a good trade off.

I guess my LP isn't going to hold up. I was really bloated last night and then that low number this morning. I'm guessing my cycle really doesn't like to go over that 30 day mark very far, now its just waiting for AF to arrive. I was really hoping.

Ohh a 5 day LP would be REALLY bad and would be pretty hard to conceive with... maybe FF is wrong and you had a CD 22 Ovulation? That would still give you a 10 day LP if AF doesn't start until tomorrow which isn't terribly long but still possible to conceive with (I did with my DD)... and it would also give you REALLY bad timing soooo...

It could also be implantation... not sure. If it goes back up tomorrow, you could still be in the game.

If you end up getting AF today or tomorrow, I would guess that you actually O'd on day 22 (and that the high temps on days 19 and 21 were random), so you would have a 9 or 10 day luteal phase. It would seem unusual to me for your luteal phase to be so much shorter than usual.

I'd say if AF is on the way then it looks more like an annov cycle.
a cd22 ovulation and then post O temps of 97.1 wouldn't be right? So i disagree with PPs about cd22 as an ovulation date.
Could just be a great implantation dip today? See what the next day holds!

Ohhh yeah, you're right. I didn't realize how low those temps were... that would be incredibly low to be post-O. I'm thinking it might be annov. as well. Hopefully the temp goes back up... I just can't imagine a 5 day LP on someone who has previously gotten pregnant very easily.

I guess that temp yesterday was a throw out. Back on par. Oh, and my boobs are sore, more than usual for a cycle. If I don't have symptoms yet, I want to pretend I am.
