We received my son's genetic testing back and found out he carries 2 different mutations of the OTOF(otoferlin) gene that caused his deafness. I feel like this really helped answer those unanswered questions. It was going to nag at me until we knew and I am glad it is something that only causes deafness. So relieved to know this information!
