Help me write a pro-co-sleeping article

Hi there,
This article was on the front page of my paper this morning.
I am definitely going to be writing something in a response. I was hoping that all of you wonderfully informed mamas would help me.
Please let me know what you think of this article. How it makes you feel. What do you have to say about it?
What would you say to someone who told you in the hospital that the only way to keep your baby safe through the night was "alone in a crib."

I think it is bullsh*t, but I need to phrase it better than that.
Thank you in advance!!

Bedsharing was actually encouraged when both my babies were born in the hospital or at least they told me if I wanted to put dd1 down she was going to the nursery because she would be too cold otherwise.

Anyway, check here for some research...

ETA: Maybe find stats on how many crib deaths and recalls have happened recently as well.

I saw Dr. McKenna at a conference this past weekend. He said that Fox news got the information in this report correct (and they interview him) --

Watch through to the end.
