Dust - friendly rug

We're moving to a new home, and don't have the finances to finish all the floors now. The remaining ones are the bedroom ones, and we're pouring the concrete paint over the concrete for now. It's the basement floor. What I'm looking for rugs that are practical and convenient.

I need to be able to wash them twice a week, since some of my kids are sensitive to dust.

What company rugs would you recommend? (NOt too expensive.) I would need probably 2 in every room.

Twice a week is really often. I've washed a lot of rugs, but I don't know how long any of them could have held up to twice a week washing.

We have a Roskilde rug from IKEA. It doesn't have a backing. It's just a very heavy piece of woven fabric (I think IKEA calls it flat woven). It's 85% cotton and 15% polyester. It washes well and dries reasonably fast. I'm not sure that they still sell them, but they might have something similar. It was cheap, maybe $25 and it's 4 x 6.

How big to you want these rugs to be? Bathmats are often designed with frequent washing in mind.

Thanks. I thought of the bath mat - I just got 2 for the bathrooms, but I find they're kind of slippery, and not big.

I'll check out IKEA.
