I made potato broc cheese soup last night, but I don't use a recipe. I just sautee some onion & garlic in olive oil. Add diced potatoes & broth. Simmer til they are soft. Then add in very finely chopped fresh broccoli, some milk & cheddar cheese. Stir til cheese is melted & broc is cooked. Then I like to mash up the potatoes a bit so it stays lumpy but you could put it in the blender or use a hand blender for a smoother texture. Really basic but yummy.
