Well I just birthed my twins on 10-17! (a natural vbac) It was definately hard but I would do it again in a second....
I was full term so we did not have NICU (just a nursery nurse), my labor nurse, my midwife, and my OB. I was able to stay in my room
Baby A was harder to push out. But once she got to a certain point, I just couldnt stop myself. Once A came out, they put her on me. I snuggled with her while I was told to ignore everything below. I know I had some extra bleeding so my OB explored my scar.
Then Baby B who was vertex turned to transverse. They turned her to vertex but she had a hand by her head. They had to push that out of the way. Then B came flying out. I didnt push long with B. I did hand off A to my husband for a bit bc it was too much to push and hold the baby.
They did have a 25 minute interval between the two. Then the placenta which took its grand old time coming out. I dont know exactly how long, but it was def a while!!
I was really so much in my own world during the birth.
