My ds is 2.75 yo. He is not yet potty trained for two reasons: I chose to wait until after his baby sister arrives in a couple weeks, and he poops 3-4 times a day.
I am sure that his morning smoothie is a big culprit in his mushy, frequent pooping, and am looking for suggestions to improve the mix of ingredients.
Right now the smoothie consists of:
1/4 cup homemade kefir, either raw goat or raw cow milk
A bit more raw milk
a couple bananas
either strawberries or blueberries
alfalfa powder
chia seed
an egg yolk or coconut oil
His father is milk sensitive, in that he can only have one serving a day. It's possible ds has milk sensitivity, but the poop is the only issue, no burned bum, etc. He seems to tolerate the kefir just fine, and this is the only dairy he gets in a day, besides cheese here and there in a meal. I know it's a lot of banana, but I don't know what to use instead...
Any ideas?
