Well . . .The Flip system is two parts. from what I understand the gDiapers are 3? the cloth outer, a waterproof liner, and then the cloth or 'sposie insert.

We have Flips in our stash and I like them for multiple reasons

they are one-size
they snap
insert options (stay-dry or organic cloth, sposie, you could even use a tri-folded prefold or fold a flat in them)
wash easily

Though I do use the gDiaper sposie insert in the FLIP covers. I can buy those locally at BRU and that is a plus for me. If it were me . . i would go with FLIPs.

About half my stash is now Flip - I am quite impressed with it. I held off for a long time because I figured "it's just a trifolded prefold in a Bummis, souped up". And in a way it is, but I like how trim it is, and although I don't find the covers especially exciting, they work well, and are gentle on DS' skin.

I am interested in trying the gDiapers cloth system though - I didn't realize that their cloth inserts were microfleece lined until yesterday. The gPants look pretty neat.

So no help, but I can give Flip a thumbs-up.
