This is me too. Maybe it's because I am a musician. We don't have a TV, but even if we did it would never be on for background. DH and I did not have that growing up so it would be a foreign concept to us.

I've been exploring the international radio stations lately on itunes! And when a horridly cheesy show like America's Next Top Model marathon is on, I'm totally watching that!

I'm not a stay-at-home mama, but on the days That I am home with DS I like to play music as background noise. Nothing overpowering, just something to tune in and out of.
