for those with Chevy Impalas

Thread Starter
I am in the market for a new vehicle and am wanting another impala. I had a 05 and loved it!

I am wondering if I can fit my Evenflo triumph advanced (rfing) my truefit (ff) and maybe a booster as well. (I don't know if dd will pass the 5 step test in it)

Thanks for anything you can offer!

My in-laws have an Impala, and I can't be certain but I think if any car could do it, it would be the Impala. Before I decided to go the minivan route I was looking into cars and I'm pretty sure the Impala had the widest backseat bench in a car.

That said, those three seats may or may not fit all three across. There's a thread on car-seat.org with a list of successful 3-across configurations you could check out as well.

We have an Impala (granted it's an '03), a Britax Marathon (FF), a First Years True Fit (RF), and I can just barely squeeze my tushy in between the two of them. I literally have to wedge myself in. I don't think a booster seat would fit, and if it did, there would be squabbling aplenty back there because of the close quarters. But I would just test it out by taking the car seats to the dealership and putting them in an Impala to see if they will fit.

You could get a 3 across in an Impala with those huge back seats. But, you might have to get at least one different car seat. The ones you have are all pretty wide. Maybe you could switch the TA out for a Complete Air or Radian? Or, for a FFing seat, what about a Maestro? Those are all narrower than the seats you have now.
