Waldorf introduction book recommendation needed

Hi everyone! We've just registered our son in the local Waldorf preschool. I know, it seems nuts because he's only 5 months old, but we're in Germany and there is a severe lack of kindergarten/preschool places so you have to register them early to guarantee a spot.

We are not all that familiar with Waldorf, but we loved what we saw at the kindergarten tour and we know for sure that the mainstream public schools are not for us. Here in Germany Waldorf schools are everywhere and do get government support so they're not expensive, how lucky for us!!

I know a little about Anthroposophy and Waldorf just from living here and talking to other parents, and I've read some online. But I feel I need to read a good thorough book so I understand better the main principles guiding the Waldorf system. I'm particularly interested in knowing what the Waldorf approach to discipline is. I would also like to get our home environment and parenting in line with the Waldorf way as much as would naturally fit for our family (which I think we're already somewhat doing but like I said I don't know so much about it yet).

Sooooo, long story short: what book or books would you recommend for a starter intro to the Waldorf way? I would love to only read one or two at this time as I already have a seemingly neverending list of parenting books to read

TIA!!!

_You are Your Child's First Teacher_ is a great parenting resource.

I hope you love Waldorf education. It's a beautiful way for a child to grow and learn.
