Too young for a play kitchen for Christmas? - Page 2

No way is she to young! she probably wont use it as a kitchen but I bet she will love to open and close the doors, to put random toys in them. My daughter was given a toy kitchen for her first birthday. I couldn't have picked a better gift!!!

The 23 mo twins in my life have been playing with play kitchens and food for a good 3-4 months now.

You might check out apartment therapy for inspiration. The children's section has a million homemade toy kitchens. There are also several etsy vendors with small portable kitchens. We have the haba stovetop. We use the box for the stove. It doesn't need to be fancy.

But you'll probably find that a toy kitchen that suits an 18m might not be what you want at 3y or 5y
