What's on your list??

We have hard core proprioception issues here -- he's a seeker. He needs it to wake up his normal sluggish body.

Would love to hear what you'd recommend!!

(he's 3...but is at a much higher playing level).

I'm looking at some dress-up clothes from Fun and Function. They look they have some neat weighted clothes that he would have fun with. (My sensory seeker is 4.)

small indoor trampoline was our BEST sensory gift ever. It was suggested by our OT, We got it when DD was 3--she still uses it at 5.

Other good things were:

A sit n spin

rocking horse

moon boots

dance scarves & music cd

gymnastic class

weighted blanket

child 'medicine' balls to play with (they are weighted)

indoor cocoon swing (Ikea has them)

texture blanket

sensory table (fill it with sand, rice, or beans--and put little toys in it or small shovel/bucket) this SAVED us for the long winters.

Seconding the trampoline vote!It gets a ton of use here!

I found some good stocking stuffer ideas in the pilates section of 5 Below last year: weighted balls (nicely squishy, we like the 2 lb ones), stretchy strength bands, small lava lamps, and a menagerie of squishy animals.

Can't wait to see other poster's suggestions.
