Sorry it didn't come through for her. And, yes, my understanding is that JKC tends to go to the lower end of the eligible pool. There is just so much need.

My son took it and did well. Knocked his socks off!The hardest part was going in to the test with all the 11th and 12th graders and feeling like an oddball. He was eligible for the Johns Hopkins programs but unfortunately we have never been able to afford one. greensad.gif

That's where we are as well.  Dd is eligible for all of the programs run through talent searchs, but they are so expensive that we just can't swing them.
