how many Pairs of shoes? ... coming into Winter - Page 2

DD is 14 months and has three pairs of shoes for fall/winter: rainboots, brown leather Stride Rites, and grey New Balance sneakers. We spend a lot of time outside and she walks on sidewalks a lot I felt she needed shoes that would last against the elements. The only thing else she might need is snow boots, but I don't feel like dealing with that yet. Oh, she also has some slippers because she loves to put shoes on and off all day and they are the easiest thing to have her practice with.

this is our issue... SO many pairs of great shoes as hand-me-downs, but they're WAY too big. So far, I haven't had to BUY shoes (hence my question) cause apparently I'm gonna need to, to get through this stage til he reaches a bigger size.

Sounds like boots & another pair of soft-soled is the consensus. Thank you for all your great ideas!

We have too many! But we do use them all. Padraigs, soft soled shoes, rain boots, and snow boots. We haven't used the snow boots yet but plan to once the snow hits- it's not far off. Rain boots are just too cold.
