If I'm allergic to cow dairy, what ae the chances I can eat goat or sheep milk/cheese?

Anyone know? I tested positive to cow milk (and beef) via skin prick test. I have been eating this all my life, so my reaction is obviously not severe. However, I am trying to cut it out for a few weeks to see what happens. I would love to be able to eat goat or sheep cheese. But I think I read that those allergic to cow are probably allergic to goat.

Most people here who react to cow's milk also react to other milks, but there are a few exceptions. For us, I just haven't tried it, I knew our overall health issues would take a few years to straighten out and I didn't want to fiddle with that when I had bigger fish to fry, so to speak.

I think the most conclusive way to know is to cut out all your allergens, hopefully get to a point where you feel okay/normal/good (based on wherever you're starting from) and then trial something--maybe cow's milk (to see if you react noticeably to that or not) or maybe other dairy (hoping that you don't notice a problem with it).

My two girls were both very dairy allergic but could handle sheep dairy. NOT cow or goat, though. Unfortunately sheep dairy is near impossible to find everywhere I've lived.
