Help! Huge brown spot on 18 mo old's molar

I feel so depressed right now...I just saw a huge brown spot on my 18 month old's lower right molar. I fully acknowledge this is my fault as I brush very inconsistently and really only brush the front teeth. I have been trying to use those xylitol tooth wipes to wipe down their teeth, but that has been inconsistent too. I feel like she only just got the molars in within the last month, how could this happen so soon??

Please, I'll take any advice on what I should do now and tips on how to take care of their teeth better. I have 18 mo old twins that still nurse non stop day and night and I'm so worn out I just didn't stay on top of this...and now I am really regretting it.

Should I go to the dentist right away? What options might they present? Any non-dentist options?

if you take them to a dentist, you can have the cavity filled or sealed. If you wait, you might end up with more aggressive treatment - stainless steel crown or extraction.

Thanks Sleepless...their 18 mo appt is tomorrow so I'll bring it up.

I was so panicked I didn't even see the sticky on curing cavities with nutrition before posting, but I've read through much of that as well.
