Vaccine reaction in sixth month old

Hi All,

Just curious if anyone heard about a similar reaction to vaccines. About five days after her vaccine, my daughter got large pimples on her leg (beginning near injection site). For over a month now I've seen these pimples crop up on her legs, arms and face (not torso for some reason). Of course the doctors refuse to acknowledge it's a vaccine reaction, saying "they never have seen such a reaction" but I just can't help make the connection. Now the dermatologist says its either bug bites or folliculitis. Am I crazy?

P.S this was NOT the MMR vaccine if that's what you're thinking.

I wonder if it is a detox reaction. My son will get this pimple like spot on his face with redness around it when he has an allergic reaction.

Yes, I've heard of this happening before.

It's kind of hard to say, exactly, if it was from a vax reaction if you don't state what vax she got.

It was the Rotavirus, Prevnar, Pentacel combo. Originally I split these up and she had no reaction, but then she missed her 4 month dose over the summer so doctor wanted to "catch her up.' Next time I'll be more wary.

It might be a dairy allergy.

My sister began getting little unsightly warts on her hands and legs due to the HPV vaccine. Not to mention the seizure it gave her in the exam room.

It has been awhile since I looked at this thread but it might

It seems fairly common for eczema to develop or flare up post vaccination.

In any case I would ensure that this is documented in her records and get a copy of the visit.

not "her vaccines"

we have given our 16 month old son a few vaccines. "catching up" is just an awful idea. when we have vaxed it has been one at a time to minimize risk and to watch for reaction. having been born in 73 i am very aware of the # of shots i got and the # recommended for my son. the difference is staggering. are kids healthier now? hardly

Just tossing this out but she wouldnt have picked up MRSA at the doctors office would she? I know a momma who thought her child had chicken pox with the little spots and it turned out to be MRSA
