Anyone ever bleed after a vaginal exam during pregnancy?

I'm a doula and my client is seeing a doctor. She got checked and she did mention that it hurt and was uncomfortable and that the doc was in a hurry too.... she bled for two days after, not pools of blood but it was bright red and very much "there", she had to wear pads. She did call the doc and nurse but they didn't seem concerned at all....

I have, and I don't think it's normal to bleed that much?
How far along is she?
I had an early u/s, because of a history of losses. So it was the transvaginal. I started spotting on the way home, which totally freaked me out. This later turned into lots and lots of bleeding for weeks on and off. The problem was a low lying placenta, the u/s initially caused the spotting, but I probably would have ended up with a bleed anyways.
All worked out well and I have a healthy baby coming next week .

I just had an exam yesterday and the doc says she nicked my cervix with the Qtip. It's never happened before but I guess during pregnancy I'm more sensitive to that stuff? I've been bleeding in small amounts ever since, but she told me to expect it, and that it would be gone in a few days. Hope that helps!

I had some bright red blood after an internal exam at like, hmmm maybe 8 or 12 weeks, I don't remember now. The midwife even said, woah, that's a lot of blood. Completely freaked me out. I also had spotting/bleeding with sex during that pregnancy. So I stopped DTD because it scared me so much.

yup, but it wasn't that much. the cervix is pretty sensitive while pg so i didn't worry about it.

I had an exam wed. She nicked my cervix too. I never bled red, but the next day I had old blood for most of the day. But it stopped.

I hope hers stops and she feels better.
