He may not have words, but he has pictures.

My 27 month old- essentially non-verbal child drew a picture tonight that threw me for a loop.

He has often played and scribbled with crayons, markers and paint, but they have been true toddler scribbles. So, when I saw him create this, I was a little surprised.

This child is complicated. Please send instruction sheet.

He confuses me, he is awesome, but he is a really hard kid to figure out. I'm excited to see what the future holds for him.

Wow! That's awesome for a 27 month old! He certainly gets representation!

Sorry, no instruction manual. Each time I think I have my kids figured out, they change!

I'm beginning to think I live in the land of asyncronouscity. My nearly 9 year old read before she was three but still doesn't handle shoes that tie. My 2 year old draws representational pictures, but he doesn't yet have more than 20 words.

Ack.

I think I need to find a copy of Out of Sync Child Has Fun
