Emergency & stockpile supplies: does your spouse know where they are?

If they needed them and you were not there, could they find them?

My DH humors me on the stockpiling and emergency supplies. He has gone along with it, helped me shop for and set up the original stash but he does not really get it.

He does seem to enjoy being able to run to the basement for groceries but that's about it. I think my son knows where more stuff is than my husband.

Have I told him where everything is? Yes.
Have I shown him? Yes.
Do I expect him to ever remember it? No.

Are other spouses as unconcerned? Do you just let it go?

ETA: ooops, didn't mean to put this is TAO. Mods, feel free to move.

Dh knows where everything is, and, tbh, he knows where some stuff is that *I* don't (like extra gas/propane tanks...). Course' just cause' he knows *where* some stuff is doesn't mean he could use it! (As if he'd know how to cook beans/grains/etc! )
