My family just completed our foster care homestudy last Wednesday. I am a past MDC member, and thought I would come pop in here and commiserate with you guys. We are currently planning to foster ages 0-4 only, although are open to adoption at some point in the future, and live in North Texas. I have a 15 yo dd, an 11 yo dd, and a 8 yo ds. My oldest and youngest are homeschooled, and my middle just started middle school last week (per her request and to my hesitation). I have wanted to foster for about ten years, so this is the fulfillment of a long time goal. We are finally in the right place and time to welcome more children into our life. So, I'll just snuggle up here and start reading, and gleaning all kinds of wonderful info from you nice ladies!
