12 weeks still feeding frequently at night?

My daughter is 12 weeks ( still cant believe I haw made it this far!) and still feeds roughly 2 hourly, I don't have a huge problem with this as the feeds are short and she is very content afterwards but i was wondering if it was normal to still feed so frequently at this age?

Very normal.

yep - totally typical of all of mine too. I kinda liked it - it was my reassurance that all was okay...

DD nursed about every 2 hours through the night until 15 months, when she moved to her own room. Breastfed babies tend to wake more often during the night than formula babies because they digest the breastmilk so fast.

Normal!

I hate to say it, since it's probably really not what you're looking to hear-- but my DS still nursed about every hour or two all night, at 12 MONTHS old. Hang in there. You're doing just exactly right!

My oldest and my middle child both nursed every hour to two hours throughout the night until they were 18 months....My youngest however, hasn't needed to eat that frequently at night.

It went by so fast though looking back. Enjoy your nursling!

at 13 mos, we're still on a 2-3 hour schedule at night.

completely normal....
If this is bothering you, or you feel like you need to rest more, you can try to nurse lying down and co-sleeping.
Good luck!

I agree with the others. It's quite normal.

The No Cry Sleep Solution has some good advice for this age, and also suggestions for developing habits that will allow baby to sleep though the night as soon as it's physically possible for that particular child.

My 18-mo-old only just started sleeping through the night, though she did progress steadily from 3 months until this time and she's a year ahead of DD1. I don't know if that's what I did or not.
