So I got my water kefir grains in the mail this week and I've made a couple batches. It;s yummy! I'm starting slow as I've read you shouldn't over -do it. I've had some *interesting* bowel movements :P
two questions: with a quart every 2 daysish being made but dh and I only drinking a smalS cup per day what do I do with the rest??
second question: as probiotics have been recomended for dd (8 mo) I have given her about a teaspoon a day for two days...is this o.k.? she didn't tolerate any other probiotics well as they had traces of milk in them. She is having some digestive issues which could be a bacterial infection/virus (or made worse by one), food allergies, underdeveloped digestive system (??) etc...is there any caution with me taking it while nursing? I figured for both of us if I go slow it should be better than the harsh store bought probiotics with FOS and dairy...
