Like several have commented, my cotton diapers are also stiff and crunchy after 20 months of use. I have a newborn bum on the way and hope to strip and soften them. I know a drier would help but we don't have one so it's line dry only around here. Any hints for softening without the help of heat?
Also, how long can youe expect cotton diapers to last? Will I make it through kid 2 with the same ones or should I invest in some new soft ones now before the new bum arrives?
