For about the last week or so my DD, who is very verbal, started adding an 'uh' at the end of many words, pretty much all the time except when the word ends in a consonant that makes it awkward to add the uh, then she won't.
Dora is on now, and she just said, "Oh MAN-uh" as an example! She never used to do that - would just say "Oh MAN!" without the 'uh' tacked on the end.
If she wants her jammies, she would say, "I want my jammies-uh" or when she wants to nurse, "I want nursies-uh" ... things like that.
She does it a LOT, all day. I'm just wonder what that is? I'm assuming it's just a phase, but just wanted to ask around to see if anyone else's kid did this or something similar?

It's nice to know it's not completely abnormal. Last night I searched Google for speech impediments and couldn't find anything about doing this, so hopefully she'll stop doing it soon!
