daily communication sheets from school

Okay, I'd like a little help. I am a teacher of preschoolers with ASD-most of whom are non-verbal. Each year I update my daily communication sheet. This year I'd would like to create a sheet in which the students use boardmaker symbols to complete sentences to let their parents know what they've done during the day. I'll still write my daily comments, but I want some parent input...As a parent what would be the questions that you would really want your child to tell you about their day?
So far I've got...
Today I played with (pics of peers, teachers, toys).
I had a (happy, sad, frustrated) day.
