from a distilled water and castile soap (bar) base. How would you adjust the consistency so it's not too thick or too watery?

If I'm going to use a gallon of water should I just use one bar or two? I'm adding shea butter also, I'm just curious from others' experiences. TY

I've heard that some commercial companies add salt to thicken their liquid soaps but I wouldn't want to use that, myself.

I would experiment to see how much water would work with the soap to get the consistency I wanted.

I never knew you could do this, but now I want to try it out.  Recipe??
