Where can I find simple black sweaters or shirts for my girls?

My girls (sizes 7 and 10) will be wearing red/black/white plaid pencil skirts for our Christmas pictures this year. I am looking for a button down black shirt or simple black sweater for their tops but I can't find anything....so far I have looked on the following websites:
Gymboree
Children's Place
Macys
JCPenny
Kohls
LLbean
Gap
Land End
Old Navy

Any other ideas?
Thanks!

you could try target

or maybe sears?

ps. I love websites when you can search for clothing by color!

I just purchased plain black long sleeved shirts for my girls at Target for $5.99 each. They also had plain black cardigans.

We got black shirts for our family photos at Target. I went to our closest store to get them after my sister told
us she got the shirts for her kids there. Turns out not every Target has them. We had to
go to the one by her office. So you might try a couple of stores if you don't succeed right away.

Online?

I do most of my shopping online... or I scope things out online before we make the trip to the physical stores.

Target has a couple of things that would probably work for you on their website too.

Gymboree does have a black turtleneck on their website. A lot of their girls stuff is dark brown instead of black right now though.

The Children's Place has a couple solid black tops online too.

Maybe the stores you visited were just picked over.

Would you be willing to order online?

I prefer to order on line...I am an hour and a half from a major metro area so on line is my best shopping option. I did order several things from Sears yesterday and will check out Target over the weekend.

I have had luck at resale shops.

Another thought is to try the BOYS' clothing section. I was at Target this week getting some long sleeved shirts for my kids. They had black for boys, but I didn't see any for girls. Boys' departments tend to have navy, black, red while girls' tend toward pastels.

Just yesterday

I bought the black, ruffle-front cardigan from Target on sale for $8 for my girls to wear over their short-sleeved Christmas dresses.
