just a month ago i was going strong at 8m with 1 snappi. i think it fell in the drycleaning bag. so i opened my second pack, and now barely a month later, one slide is way longer than the other and it is almost too wide.

any idea what happened to it? did i stretch it too much or not enough in the beginning.

Snappis only have a six month life span, per the manufacturer. You're actually supposed to stop using them after six months because they stretch out and can snap.

but that's the thing. the one in constant use for 8m was going strong, till it got lost. it is my brand new, never used, but was bought 8m ago, that went bad within a month of use.

All of ours stretch out over time. We've only had one snap. Some have been used for several years. Some are on my second baby. Even when they are super stretched they still work fine!

Maybe it was old stock and the material deteriorated?
